The philosophy of Taiji 37
Taiji as a system is developing continuously. Originally it was a martial art. Its principles were applied to eliminate opponents. When the use of guns started to appear fighting without weapons slowly became obsolete. The objective of Taiji shifted to the improvement of health and the cultivation of a long life. A more recent development is the idea that Taiji forces can be used to treat patients.
Taiji 37 combines those three arts: martial art, bodily art and healing art. It is up to the practitioner to experience how those three arts are related. Some insight in the philosophical principles of Taiji 37 can be useful for this.
